Breast Cancer Screening Recommendations

With all the changes in the world today, evolution has been an integral part of everyday life. Everything in today’s modern world has evolved not limited only in technology but into the simplest forms of organisms. Not only do our bodies become stronger, but the viruses, bacteria’s and even our own cells may become malignant cancer cells. Major concerns about cancer have been rampant in today’s age. In the United States alone 1 out of 3 people are likely to have cancer. The sad part is the most of them don’t even know they are already suffering from the disease. Breast cancer screening recommendations have been given to most women even at a young age.
Some breast cancer screening recommendations start at the age of 20.

Young women should go to their doctor in order for them to have a clinical breast examination at least once every 3 years. Every woman should know how to check if their breasts are okay. There are guides for a self breast examination in order for you to determine if there are some masses in one of your breasts. At the age of 40, most women should have a procedure called mammography once every year. Since breast cancer rates are much higher on older women, they should be proactive in checking their body for any irregularities.

Let us keep it into our heart that breast cancer screening recommendations are integral part of every woman. Not only shall we prevent the spread of the malignant cancer cells, but also it may save our lives and bodies in the future. The earlier the detection of cancer the better it would be for the person involved.
